Why are you not appearing at back-to-school events?

I understand that many potential voters are at back-to-school events. Back-to-school nights, though, are an opportunity for parents to find out what they need to know for the school year in order to help their child (children) to be successful. Parents have enough papers to carry from the message they receive inside the building: they do not need more.

Why did you not seek party endorsements?

I chose not to seek party endorsements because the school board "contest" is nonpartisan. Because everyone has a stake in educational matters, I chose to remain focused on attracting members of any political affiliation to my campaign.
